27th annual Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta

On Sunday, August 11th, the Santa Cruz Yacht Club will host its 27th annual Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County. Fun, sailing, food, and music —— it's all on deck at the Regatta!

The event will be held at the Santa Cruz Yacht Club's, dry dock area on the west side of the lower harbor in Santa Cruz (near Aldo's). Sailing takes place from 1-3:30pm, followed by a catered dinner. Live music by the always fun and lively Island Breeze will keep the party rolling. There will be two great raffles and a silent auction at the event. So much fun in one day!

There are many ways to join the fun. No boat? No worries!! You can enjoy watching the race as you sail on the Chardonnay II. Don't want to sail? Then please join us for dinner and share in the fun of the music, Silent Auction, and raffles. Call Mary at 831-464-8691 to order Chardonnay and/or dinner tickets.

Corporate Sponsorship Packages are available whether you register a boat or not. What is a race without the Skippers and Sailors to crew the boat? Participants can crew and take part in the fun too.

All skippers must fill out the Yacht Entry Form.

If you are a skipper who wishes to pay for your crew, please click the "Pay for my crew" button above. Each of your crew members will still have to submit a signed waiver to sail. Two ways to submit the waiver are: 1) to individually register online at the ticket website choosing Option 1, "Prepaid Crew Member" or 2) download, sign, & submit the Pre-Paid Participant registration form.

The Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta is a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County who have served the children in our community for 37 years! 100% of all proceeds stay local and go to Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring services.

You can sail on the Chardonnay II for $55 per person and ejoy the afternoon party which includes dinner, music and all the fun. To signup or for more information, please call Mary at 831-464-8691.

Raffles & Silent Auction!

$100 raffle. Only 150 tickets are sold, so your chance of winning is great!  This year we have 2 prizes: 1) 7 day/6 night Hawaiian destination (island of your choice) plus $1500 cash for airfare or spending and 2) 4-day/3-night stay in a Las Vega deluxe condo plus $400 cash for airfare or spending.

$10 raffle has over 50 prizes from local restaurants, stores, and other businesses.

You do not have to be present to win for either raffle.

Silent Auction.  Another chance to go home with fabulous prizes. Come and bid on spectacular prizes available only at the event.
