Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County is thrilled to be this year’s beneficiary of the Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta. The pandemic has not stopped staff or Bigs from supporting their Littles, and it will not stop our Regatta. There will be shifts and changes to ensure the safety and well-being of all, but many elements of our traditional Regatta will still occur. The Yacht Club has implemented COVID-19 protocols and procedures that we will follow.
What will be different
This will be a contactless event which requires ALL purchases and paperwork to be done online and in advance. There will not be a $10 raffle this year, however, an exceptional award-winning Pinot Noir will be available to the first 40 participants to complement their gourmet take away meals provided by Kiss Catering.
What will remain the same?
Fun, sailing, food, silent auction, $100 Raffle, music and the contentment and satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to support the power of potential of local youth through the magic of mentoring.
Why is this so important?
Big Brothers Big Sisters has relied on live events to provide 40% of our overall budget. The families we serve are facing extremely challenging times. Your support of vital, life-changing mentoring relationships reduces social isolation, anxiety and provides hope and optimism for our young people and families.

On Sunday, September 6th, the Santa Cruz Yacht Club will host its 28th annual Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County. Fun, sailing, food, and music —— it's all on deck at the Regatta!

The event will be held at the Santa Cruz Yacht Club's, dry dock area on the west side of the lower harbor in Santa Cruz (near Aldo's). Sailing takes place from 1-3:30pm, followed by a gourmet take away meal, music and raffle drawing. Purchase your ticket today!

Corporate Sponsorship Packages are available whether you register a boat or not. This year we are not able to provide boats for Sponsors that do not have their own due to COVID-19. However, we are providing an award winning wine for all Corporate Sponsor levels above $500.00.

The Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta is a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County who have served the children in our community for 38 years! 100% of all proceeds stay local and go to Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring services.

$100 raffle. Only 100 tickets are sold, so your chance of winning is great!  The winner will receive $1,500 cash plus a one week stay in a 2 bedroom condo at the Orange Tree Resort in Scottsdale AZ or trade for any of the other 24 Shell Vacations Resort locations.
