With the guidance and friendship of caring mentors, children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County are not limited by their circumstances.  Mentors help provide children facing adversity the foundation and support to do better in school and make better life choices.
Of the local children with a Big Brother or Big Sister:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County matches children with volunteer mentors.  We call this "making a match."  We invite you to Make A Match.  $3,500 is the cost to match a child and fund ongoing professional mentoring support for one year. This can only happen with your support. Ultimately, it is the community built here in Santa Cruz County that makes our work possible.
